Prince is a Dick
He goes on Fallon's show. Asks to borrow a guitar from one of the guys in Fallon's house band. It's a rare 1961 Epiphone model, after his set he throws the guitar across the stage and breaks the head, ruining the guitar. Then he refused to offer to replace it, or even sign the ruined guitar afterwards for the true owner.

What an asshole.

also, if NBC has any class at all they will support this guy in filing suit and ban Prince from any NBC show. Period.

If they really want to lay the hammer down, ban him from ever appearing (or having any of music used at all) in anything NBC, Universal, or Comcast. You're done. Go have fun with Viacom... Until you maliciously fuck with one of their employees' livelihoods.

No. It's a guitar that can be repaired and as I said earlier, it's not "vintage" because the tuners were replaced.

This doesn't even make any sense. The original tuners were replaced with Sperzels. That alone removes the guitar from the high end "vintage" market, which isn't all the great for Crestwood's, anyway.

Furthermore, the Crestwood are 3x3 on the headstock, not inline six.

all is good. They did have single line kluson tuners originally, but they weren't the "delux" model with the larger keys. The Crestwood had the smaller keys and the crumbling plastic problem was supposedly fixed by 1961. Here's a pick of what the Delux tuners from the late 50s did though.
