Misc Recommend an Air Compressor - Page 2

My Craftsman suddenly developed armature problems and i don't think it's too cheap to have fixed.

It was a good one and is no longer manufactured. I want to buy a new (or reconditioned) one within $120-$180 that's reasonably comparable to mine.

Here are the specs:

2HP
150 PSI peak
SCFM: 3.7@40PSI/2.6@90PSI
Permanent Lube
6 gal tank

I'm looking at these;

- Bostitch CAP2000P-OF-R (recon.) $120

What do you recommend? I need to make a quick decision. it's holding up the final touches of my long ongoing remod.

I'd say so...but re-conditioned versus new.....and depends if you like the way they are mounted versus the other way...certinly take up less footprint in your shop....whats shipping run?

I bought a Porter Cable one from Home Depot for $115. It works great. It will run one nailer for sure, probably two. A carpenter I know has a bostitch one like you linked, but when I looked into them, they were expensive.

My Porter Cable job I built a shelf in my garage and bolted the Compressor to it, and mounted a hose reel on the bottom of it. ****ing love it. I don't know why I didn't do that 15 minutes after closing on the house.

Heh, I've been looking at two others that look almost exactly like it. Now I have 3 of the same brand to compare.

Actually I've been looking at this and it's slightly my front-runner so far. There are a lot of positive user feedback about it on Amazon. Plus I like the dual connection for two guns.
