I agree. Warmack is very good, but I'd also question whether it was of benefit due to studs across the whole line or him singularly. I don't think Fluker is anything more than a guard at the next stage as well. Power guard versus a zone guy as well.

And Jones is that good. He's as nasty a lineman as I've ever seen and he's got very good technical skills.

It's also an offense that plays into the hands of a power scheme player like Warmack.

He's very good. I don't know if he's completely all-world and it's interesting to note that he was the third guy on that line in terms of NFL prospect when the season began. I think it was his performance in the NC game that really pushed him up.

And add to it that the Chiefs drafted Rod Hudson two seasons ago, and he was one of the best guards I've ever seen at that level. Near clone of Shields in build and game.

Well, no way am I suggesting the Chiefs should be looking at Warmack. I was just responding only to your arguments about the Alabama O-Line, because I am in a position to respond (having seen this line in person at every Alabama home game for the past three years).

There's no doubt that the whole offensive unit benefited from Jones and Warmack playing right next to each other this year. Warmack was, to my eyes, insane-good all year long. Not just because of Jones at Center, but because he was grading people at the line and making plays at the second level.

That Albert RT is pretty ****ing encouraging!

It's amazing what a simple RT can do...speaks volumes without saying shit!

Hope the rest of the offense feels the same as Albert...Hali .

This is classic. It is a perfect example of the failure this franchise, and fan base, have brought upon themselves. In the fear of failure, they settle for average. They don't look at who can actually win a SB, it's about who is less likely to lose.

Attempting to build a team by building up an amazing roster and sticking an average QB in it is as reckless, not to mention as unlikely to work, as it is to risk taking a QB with high upside and some down side. It's more in fact. In today's NFL, attempting to win with a game manager is just attempting to swim upstream. Yet we still have people screaming to do it.

Half of our fanbase is mentally reeruned. These last few months have proven that.

People also like to forget that losing in a conference game means you only made it half way to the goal. Then again some people aim only to win a playoff game, not a SB. The "well we haven't even done what Alex Smith or Tebow have in the playoffs" is bullshit as well. I don't care about the playoff streak, I care about the SB. I want a guy capable of doing that, not some guy who can patchwork us into ending the playoff streak only to lose to the next team he plays.

I am getting into it with my limited few Chiefs fans on my facebook account who are all about signing Smith and drafting Star or Joeckel. I spelled out my reasoning for wanting to draft Geno and this Joeckel dude came back with "i know torching those weak big 12 defenses was soooo hard. And joeckel was the most dominate (he wrote,"dominate" AHHHH) offensive lineman in the SEC...which is the closest college football gets before the NFL. when joeckel is going to numerous pro bowls and winning awards for being dominate, and geno smith is crying cause the CFL wont even hire him, i dont wanna hear no bitching."

I can come up with a rebuttal to this dumbass, but someone help me out here...a lot of you guys are better at doing this than I am when it comes to Smith and Joeckel.... I have a general idea of what to say, but what do you guys have? THANKS.

There's just not much you can say to these dumb ignorant mother****ers. They are who they are. They aren't going to think any differently just because of what you say.

Just say JFC you're a dumbass. I'm done.

I have pretty much avoided talking about the draft on Twitter and shit so far because I know I'll just go crazy on folks all day and I don't have time for that shit. And I know it'll do pretty much no good.
