Leveon Bell rumor

Per Mark Madden on twitter, bell skipped a drug test which would lead to a year suspension for him.

My point wasn't that JC isn't still a nice back. I honestly don't know what he is now, we'll see this year. Whatever he is though he is almost done.

My point was that Bell is a young, hard-running back and among the league's best. Losing him would be a significant loss to the Steel.

"a nice back"

You don't have a ****ing clue. The guy is the all-time career leader in YPC, and trust me he's not done. Him and Spencer Ware are going to take a giant shit on your defense twice, just wait.

Did you guys listen to his interview yesterday?

He flat out said he's worried about getting his knee hurt again and that he needs to get over the mental part of the recovery.

Chiefs are playing with house money at RB at this point. West (4YPC) and Ware (5.5 YPC) combined for 10 TD's last season and put us at 6th in rushing and we only had 1 fumble from either caused by our old friend Donald ****ing Stephenson.

Add in Hill's athleticism for screens and we're more than prepared if Jamaal has more issues.

I think he'll be okay though. Can't wait to see this trio this season.

I'm fully prepared to see many games with 18 carries between the three of them

I'd prefer to see more carries from West and Ware than Charles, especially early in the season.

I'd also prefer to see Charles primary role as a receiver, whether out of the backfield or in the slot because he'd see far less contact and his ability in space would be utilized.

Agree. But you have to give him some carries or nobody with respect it and the LB will just crowd the edges. I really would like to see Ware and Charles in the backfield together, not in a blocking role but a misdirection role. Feed Charles a few times and then send Ware the other way and let him embarrass fools.

I am definitely on board with limiting his touches early. Especially in non division games.
