Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs

Well, it looks like the deal is done.

https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

At least I'm not a panty waste jackass who is a fan of one player over my favorite team. Jackoff.f

I support my TEAM. We went 2-14 last year and I watched almost every game through the entire disaster, watching us lose about 10 half time leads under Cow Chip Kelly.

Kaepernick lost his job because he was stupid and thought he could make controversial political statements that are incendiary for half the nation, and scared off or pissed off every owner and GM in football.

Here is list of the bums signed this year while owners still won't touch Mr. Black Lives Matter.

The 17 free-agent quarterbacks signed ahead of Colin Kaepernick

Mike Glennon
Brian Hoyer
Nick Foles
Josh McGown
Landry Jones
Matt Barkley
Mark Sanchez
Geno Smith
Josh Johnson
EJ Manuel
Kellen Moore
Aaron Murray
Chase Daniels
Case Keenam
David Fales
TJ Yates
Matt McGloin

That is pure trash, baby. That is USDA Prime refuse fit for hog swill. Kaepernick has had far more success than any of these bums and would probably have decent success behind the Cowboy's offensive line, because he would be in a clean pocket most of the time, which is the only way he can be effective.

I will never understand the mentality of jackwipes who are fans of a single player and not fans of their team. After Alex is dumped, you will be off to sully and harass the next poor saps to suffer with him.

Good riddance to you and the rest of you Acolytes of the Holy Orthodox Church of Alex Smith (reformed). Enjoy your hero worship while you can. He doesn't have many years of playoff killing mediocrity left to play.

Alex Smith was a perfect bridge to not sucking. I'm fed up with "not sucking."

I've missed about 1/2 the Sunday's in the Alex Smith era, possibly a little more, because I know they're not going to beat a great team in the playoffs.

Ultimately, yeah, you can say that.

As pointed out, teams like the Falcons and Panthers and Packers and Steelers had a chance because they had the QB needed.

Some of you are just ****ing miserable to be miserable. I'm sorry that you think NFL teams just stop sucking overnight. I'm sorry you can't find any joy in wins on Sunday in the Fall because they won't win a game against a great team in January and/or February.

Yeah, Alex Smith was the perfect bridge to respectability, which is what needed to happen. I enjoyed wins over the last 4 years - even if they were "meaningless" as you point out.

The only QB this regime passed on was Carr, and while that was a big mistake, people still saying they would have taken Geno, yet while complaining about "not wanting to suck" is rich.

The Chiefs finally got it right with Mahomes.

This is a load of shit too. I care about all games that matter. Regular season games matter. Preseason games don't.

I just don't see the point complaining about Alex Smith anymore. We got what we've all wanted. We have one more year of Alex. There's light at the end of this tunnel that some thought would never come.

It really blows my mind. For all those that get accused of being Alex lovers in this thread, this is just blinded hatred from what usually is a pretty knowledgeable poster over the years.

That same guy passed on Carr.

I told you when he was hired that Dorsey was the true prize of these two, and I'll be good and goddamned if that didn't turn out to be the case.

Hopefully Andy has learned to trust the superior mind over in personnel.

I believe he has, and that's how it should be.

Dear God all of you, if you're actual Chiefs fans you should be happier than a hog in shit that we landed this young phenom... Smitty will leave KC a FILTHY rich man, why would anyone give a fat shit what happens after that?

I'm not going into the played out 'Alex deserves our respect because...' thing, I've said it over and over and over through the years, so have most other people

He was a plus, now he is a minus... he can cry upon the private island that he buys next year

**** him
None of them are Chiefs fans or any other team. They are all fans of just players, in this case - Alex Smith. They treat it like a religion with Alex as their deity.

I disagree. He's a solid backup QB like Foles and can win you those easy-medium games when the starter goes down (in the right system). He has too much baggage and coaches don't want the distraction
