Peterson asks to be traded

https://mobile.twitter.com/adamschef...40781270999046

[Schefter] Cardinals’ All Pro CB Patrick Peterson has asked Arizona to deal him by the Oct. 30 trade deadline, per league sources. Peterson feels as if the situation is deteriorating and continues to reaffirm to others that he “desperately” wants out, per source.

I dont disagree and yeah I'd probably get another pass rusher with 1 of those 4 top 100 picks. I'd let Ford walk and finish out Houstons contract.

I'll also say this which nobody on here will agree with but I think Speaks lowkey might be good. I wanted to hate the pick but I've seen him play significant snaps the past 3 weeks and hes been around the QB.

I would hazard a guess that the Chiefs are keeping Houston and tagging Ford for 2019 and selecting another OLB or two as Day 2 (2nd or 3rd rounds), or one in Day 2, and the other as a developmental project in Day 3. Then cutting Houston and letting Ford go at the end of 2019, and selecting another pass rusher one in 2020.

That would be my guess.

You'd rather keep the pick and take a plugger than get Patrick Peterson?

Meh Rams have two of the best interior rushers in the NFL and their defense isn't even really top 10.

I don't have any qualm with spending the pick towards the DL if the class is as heavy as you say but I'm definitely not spending it their for philosophical reasons. I think outside rush is still king.

Cardinals def playing it like they want two 1st rd picks, if that stays the price it likely never happens. If they lower demands we can see one of these 3 teams getting it done. Eagles already made offer

They're also a big part of the reason they don't have a premiere outside rusher. They spent all their money in the middle.
