Hali off PUP

Chiefs activated OLB Tamba Hali (knee scope) from the active/PUP list.

Hali is expected to get in some practice reps on Tuesday. Hali will be eased into action, and held out of the preseason, but is fully on track for Week 1.

2 problems:

The Chiefs have had opportunities to become a defensive juggernaut but Reid has been steering this team to have an offensive element. He's missed the point entirely. (Buc and Ravens SB teams should have been the model).

The Donks are done since they don't have a QB as "good" as Smith. Oakland needs to prove themselves and KC enters the season missing their best weapon.

When Rivers sees a hole he will penetrate. This is the year.

I know you're a homer through and through, but you can't tell me you're the least bit worried that that the Chargers will violate every hole the Chiefs defense leaves open in Week 1.

The fact is you have nothing on offense. Alex will be afraid to throw to Maclin because he'll be covered (He can't throw to people who are within a 10 yard radius of a defender).

You have some backup RBs and nothing more.

The Chargers will beat the Chiefs in Week 1:
Chiefs 0-1

I find your lack of concern about the lack of Eric Weddle concerning.

Who knows if Alex will even get the start. Reid might get him some extra rest considering how well our backup QB's exploit that shitty defense

While I'll admit that I've imbibed in a lager or 2 this evening, I soberly say that the lack of Bosa or Weddle won't make a lick of difference to this Chargers team. (Weddle has been overrated for years)

The Chargers offense is excellent purely based on the fact that they have Philip Rivers at QB. The weapons at his disposal are never a concern.

The defense is the question mark and the Cardinals game showed some promise. Their DB group is improved with the addition of Hayward and Lowery

Watching Chiefs fans dismiss the Chargers as a cakewalk this early in the season is encouraging as I hope it trickles down to Andy Reid and Co.

Week 1:
Chiefs 0-1

I sensed that he secretly wanted to get paid AND play in his home town of Atlanta. That reality is looking less likely for him and now he wants to be paid big. For what? He had a below average year by his standards and he wants to be the #1 guy? Forget it. I'll take a free agent corner with that money every single damn day of the week and use next year's #1 pick to pick up a safety cause that's a position where a rookie can be ready by week 1 of the regular season.

You forgot to add a few more problems: 1) stadium sucks 2) lackluster fans 3) phyllis "I wish I were Drew Brees good" Rivers 4) sloppy seconds (Brandon Flowers, Sean Mcgrath)

Alex Smith's name does not come up during conversations about the best QBs in the league. Yet you type "phyllis 'I wish I were Drew Brees good" Rivers'.

You need some help.
