Late night bullshit: start thinking about our 2nd round pick, folks.

Here was the 2013 ChiefsPlanet Mock all the way up to the Dolphins 2(b) pick (which I'm assuming we're getting for Albert):

55 Cincinnati - DaKCManAP - Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
Now, again, let's stop with the SNR fantasy land: WE ARE DRAFTING JOECKEL OR FISHER WITH THE 1.1 PICK.

Accepting that, who do you take? Here's the draft.

The top remaining talent at this point, in my humble opinion:

QB Tyler Wilson, Arkansas
QB Tyler Bray, Tennessee
RB Giovani Bernard, North Carolina
WR Aaron Dobson, Marshall
WR Da'Rick Rogers, Tennessee Tech
OT Kyle Long, Oregon
OT Menelik Watson, Florida State
OT Terron Armstead, Arkansas-Pine Bluff
OG Justin Pugh, Syracuse
OG/C Barrett Jones, Alabama
OLB Cornellius "Tank" Carradine, Florida State
OLB Corey Lemonier, Auburn
OLB/ILB Sio Moore, Connecticut
ILB Kevin Minter, LSU
ILB Jon Bostic, Florida
S Bacarri Rambo, Georgia

To me, Menelik Watson, Giovani Bernard, Cornellius Carradine, Kevin Minter, Justin Pugh, and Barratt Jones are the can't miss guys there.

My preference would be Carradine or Minter. Minter is the better player, Carradine's position is far more important. Barratt Jones would also make a ton of sense.

Given that we just dropped a 1.1 on Joeckel, Watson and Pugh make little sense. Plus, they're going in the 1st anyway.

I dont care either way. Geno is the best developmental prospect for QB in this draft, and were holding the number one pick. Two plus two equals "jell-o" in Chiefs Land though.

That's great.

People around here were shitting bricks with the thought of the Chiefs drafting a real elite level offensive tackle in Okung over a ****ing safety, but we've got a chance to draft the best quarterback in the entire draft and we're now okay with drafting a marginal talent at the OT position in Joeckel or Fisher?

You ****ing people are ****ing reeruned.

19 people still want Tyler Wilson?

Have any of you actually done any homework on that guy? He is truly, truly terrible. His best hope to make a living playing football is to never actually play football. He can make a decent career for himself holding a clipboard on the basis of Petrino's gimmick offense, but the moment he's actually asked to play NFL football, he'll get exposed and drummed out.

It's just pure, blatant homerism. Everyone wants to deep throat everything and anything Dorsey and Reid do.

That's all it is.

I'm not like that. I'm waiting and seeing. I can't judge before they've played games. As much as I hate the compensation for Smith, he's the best they could do.
