I think a lot of us can say that we've done something, for someone who we didn't know because it was clear they needed help and we decided to step up unasked to do something about it.

Has it ever happened to you? It just did in the last week or so for me. This person requested the deed and their name to remain anonymous, but I was touched by it to say the least. I've had next to no interaction with this individual in the 5 years I've been here, but they were paying attention to some of my posts and decided to offer a hand.

Actually, I'm not sure the OP defines a random act of kindness. It wasn't exactly random. Random is handing someone a $100 bill as they walk by you on the street.
