Do you return your shopping cart?

Last night at the grocery store I see a lady leave her shopping cart in the middle of the parking lot. The worst part about it is that there was literally 1 spot between her car and the cart corral. I was telling a guy at work this and he mentioned that he read that people who were successful in life return their carts. I looked for this article and nothing I found seems to be based on any data.

I figured that Chiefsplanet could provide some data.

Every time. If you really want data, why to make this a poll?

Absolutely. It's the decent thing to do. Society is based on rules and if you break those rules, society breaks down.

Return your damned shopping cart.

Hell no. I don't shop very often but when I do I leave my cart at the top of my parking space for them to pick up when they come out.

I asked the kid at Albertsons a few years back if he minded when people didn't return their carts. He said absolutely not, they like being sent out each hour on cart duty, gives them a chance to be outdoors.
