Draughn or even Gray.
Hillis is a guy that needs alot of carries to establish his groove. I don't think he can do that here. |

Hillis has shown nothing since the Arizona preseason game.

I've really liked what Draughn has brought the past few weeks, especially the Saints game. He plays similar to Charles and has a nice 5.9ypc to boot. He also did a good job stretching on that 3rd and 12 to give us a chance to win the game and seems to follow blocks better than Hillis.

I'm just saying TJ got jobbed on some good runs by bad holding calls or Julian Eddleman being a little bitch.

I'm starting to think that RB's, if they aren't of the elite level, are basically interchangeable.

A good to great offensive line and unpredictable play calling are arguably the greatest boon to running backs. I think defenses are too fast these days and can negate the freakishness of some rushers.

Draughn has outplayed him. Hillis kinda sucks and plus you can't trust him to hold onto the ball.

Do we know how Hillis is with the injury?
Draughn looks pretty fast out there, but I still like a two-back set with Charles and Hillis. Their styles are so nice and complementary that I think it's a very good combo.

Anymore I don't really care about having the "combo" big and small backs. Draughn, Gray, and Charles area nice compliment of backs.

Draughn reminds me of law firm. Hits the hole hard and fast, but doesn't really create a lot of extra yards.
Hillis hasn't shown me much in KC to say he definitely gets the nod over Draughn. He might be slightly better when the rb blocking is poor. If Draughn can improve his vision, he would be a better back imo.
