Also, Jalen Saunders reminds me of a better version of McCluster. And we can probably draft that guy in round 4 or 5.
If Beckham is gone by our pick, I'd definitely wait until Round 3 and look at Mike Davis or Brandon Coleman at that spot if they are still around, or possibly Cody Hoffman in Round 4. I think all three, while completely different types of receivers, would give the Chiefs a solid WR prospect.

Exactly.

I'd like to see him in Reid's offense.

But I'd like Brandin cooks more

Not interested in WR before the 4th round in the draft.

The Seahawks won 12 games, the tough NFC West, the NFC and the SB with Golden Tate, Doug Baldwin and Jeremy Kearse as the primary targets for Russel Wilson.

Fix the defense, and this team can make noise.

Trying to replicate the Seahawks defense isn't as easy as drafting defensive players

This is what I've been saying as well. With the QB's we have to face we better be drafting to stop someone, not out score them (vermeil, Reid and denver showed how great that works out)

No shit.

You come up with that bit of wisdom all by your lonesome?

I am not trying to replicate that D.

I just want to improve it to respectable, to give this team some balance.

I appreciate the sentiment and Taoist philosophy, but what kind of balance do you want to achieve?

The defensive side of the ball already has five first round draft picks and six Pro Bowl players on it.

And conversely, do you know how magnificent our receiving corps is?

If you want balance, it won't be achieved by throwing yet another first round pick on the defensive side of the team.

Don't give a rat's ass about the number of first round picks if the gaping holes are underming the rest.

I've said this so many times, I should just make it my signature.

Give me a franchise QB and a top 10 defense, and I will take my chances.

That's the kind of balance I want.

No matter who we pick the main thing that needs to happen to the Chiefs is to stick a boot in Suttons ass. Our offense showed we can put points up and our D is full of probowlers. If Sutton can pull his head outta his ass and learn to make adjustments we'll be fine. If Kelce and Commings pan out then we have our TE and Safety. We just added a good slot reciever from the CFL. We need more help for Hali and Houston if anything.

The single most gaping hole on this team is FS.

Injuries and fatigue did the defense in last year, along with terrible FS play.

Well, the thread title says rank the receivers. Not whether the Chiefs should draft one.

So,

Sammy Watkins

Then in no order really because I think it just depends on what scheme, or what you need.

Marquise Lee,
Odell Beckham,
Mike Evans,
Kelvin Benjamin
