Will Vick follow Reid as a backup QB?

The Eagles aren't going to keep him with his current contract. He's better than either Cassell or Quinn, and he would prolly come cheap.

I don't want him for a long term solution as a backup, but he beats anything we have on the squad. He said he used to have dreams about playing for the Chiefs while he was in Leavenworth....

Considering I want Reid to work his offense around Geno Smith, I'd rather them go out and get a veteran FA that has experience as a pure pocket passer in this league. (Matt Hasselbeck is willing to take a backup role/mentor for Jake Locker)

I wouldn't be excited about having Vick on the same offense as Geno Smith.

His ego is part of the reason he is 31-19 as a starter. Fisher simply never wanted him. I thought he and Reid got along much better.

Never understood the hate for Vince Young. The guy has tons of talent, is still young, and he's got a winning record. People say he can't pass or lacks the mental ability to play QB, and that sounds racist to me. You don't get to 2 pro bowls if those things are true. He had a 99 passer rating his final year in TN after an 83 the year before, so he was progressing well as a passer.

Vince Young? Hell I would take Neil Young over any of the fine tuned specimens we have trotted out on the filed the last couple of years.
