Dak Prescott this year's Russell Wilson?

Interesting. I don't think Matt Miller is some great scout, but I do believe the scouts telling him things. Round 2 guy. I think he could fit in our offense very well. Ran a spread offense which makes me nervous, but he'll have time to learn if he's in KC |

Too bad the offensive college game doesn't parallel the NFL game because this is why I think we are seeing less and less great QB's in the NFL over time. The majority can't make the transition because intellectually and emotionally it is sooooo overwhelming to learn QBing under center with a playbook that has more pages than "War and Peace" not to mention the pressure to WIN NOW !! If the college game would not spoon feed these guys they would be much better prepared for the NFL game but college is about winning now making sure alumni and Mom and Dad's $$ keep rolling in. Therefore the college game makes it even easier for these QB's to win and entertain the masses while in the process are dumb downed for the NFL game for the most part.
Bottom Line: The spread offense makes NFL scouts faaaaaaar more nervous than you and I. |

Would rather run with Murray than this cross eyed guy.

Prescott has more checkboxes filled than most QBs in this draft. He's going late 1st in my opinion. |

Prescott isn't as accurate as I'd like.

Guys, although no one seems to want to admit it, I believe Aaron Murray is The Guy for the Chiefs. He was very highly rated as a junior and then got hurt. I believe he holds the all-time SEC passing record......and as I recall that's a relatively decent conference. He's a tad on the short side (6'1"?), but if you can do it in the SEC as well as he did, I suspect he'll be successful in the NFL (assuming he's truly committed to football....unlike Dee Ford (yeah, I'm not a Ford lover)). Anyway, in my mind, Murray is The Guy.

Now, it IS possible that the aforementioned "crack" could be a scenario where a prospect who was considered far and wide to be a first round guy finds himself in some situation outside of football that lowers his stock down to the 2nd or beyond. But even then, the Chiefs are going to find themselves picking from 15/16-up for a long, long time under Reid and Dorsey, and I don't see Dorsey using that 1st to pick in a downward trajectory. |

Talk talk talk with this guy and the Chiefs. Gruden, Riddick and Jeremiah all said he fits the Chiefs very well.
All worked for or with Andy so it's legit IMO. They know people in our building.

I've seen him compared to McNabb multiple times. I'm also not that big of fan. He's been mocked a lot in the 3rd so that pretty much means we'd have to use a late 2nd. And I think that'd be a big waste

Hmmmmm
Could be true. He's looked very impressive for a 4th rounder so far
