After 3 months, I am weighing in at 219. Pounds aren't coming off as fast right now. I have dropped 2 pant sizes, one shirt size, and one underwear size. I keep getting to my goal and having to set a new one. Right now I am gunning for 201 which will be a little over 20%. Everyone wants me to stop and says I look good, but I feel like I still have more I want to accomplish. Like everything else, this becomes addicting after a while.

Are you losing weight for yourself or for other people?

This, kind of. It's nice to get complimented, and it's gotta be good knowing people care about you. Ultimately, you need to do what you feel is right for yourself, though.

That shit ****ed me up when I was in my groove back the first time I lost weight. Everyone was telling me how good I looked even though I still needed to lose 30lbs+ and I started to believe them and figured I could take it easier on my diet. Then after slacking off for a few weeks I just stopped caring and gained 15lbs of the 40 I lost back over the next year.

Now I'm still struggling to lose like I was before people started saying that. I know what I need to do though.

On a different note, March sucked for me. Most of my family have their birthdays in March and a had a few friends up to visit so I didn't pay much attention to my diet. Over the last couple weeks I gained back everything I lost for March so my weight is the same. The good news is I did start lifting and doing some cardio so April should be a good month.

No, I just started jogging, and would jog until I had to walk. The next time I went out, I would jog a little more than I did the day before. I would not allow myself to walk any of the areas I had jogged the day before. After a few weeks, I just jogged my whole 3.2 mile route today. Granted, my jogging is probably as slow as most people's brisk walk (which is what I list it as on my MFP).

Buck, I added you. Forgive my lack of a profile. I just haven't spent much time online until tonight. I took tomorrow of work, so I'll stay up and work on it tonight.

Nice. That's still good. On my runs, right now its 60 sec run, 90 walk, 60 run, 90 walk (for a total of 20 min). The first 2 times I run I can run pretty well, but the next 6 I am pretty much jogging. It's not easy to run fast when you weigh a lot. It's just the laws of physics working against you.

I haven't tracked anything but my weight on MFP for over a month, but starting tomorrow I'll start logging all my food and exercise again.

My personal trainer gets on there and checks on me. I'll admit I don't do everything I'm supposed to, but even when I'm bad, I try to stay within my calorie limit.

And I only track my cardio. I haven't tracked my strength training exercises.

Oh, and I just put a profile together.

I have come to realize that most of what people say is out jealousy. They want to lose weight, but don't have the discipline. It is easier for them to get into your head. I know what you are saying about the weight gain, and I simply can't let others do this to me this time.

You're jogging about as much as I am now. Good job! Keep it up, and don't worry about how fast or slow you're going. The main point is that you're doing it.
