***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

That still doesn't excuse him for posting his crap. Saying Tebow should've been picked #1 overall? Seriously, that is grounds for any level-headed football to call him a dumbass. He has been like that for as long as I remember him in my times on football message boards.

I agree... he's an uber-homer, nothing more to really say.

Yeah, that was frustrating... needs to have more composure when rolling out like that. Decker was wide freaking open on another play that surely would have been a sweet TD pass.

I'm more frustrated with a scrambling and mobile QB taking 8 sacks... giving up most to a DL that had been sackless (I believe) through the other games.

Tebow's an okay guy on Sunday and Monday.

But by Friday you'll want him crucified. Though on Sunday your Tebow attitude will seemingly rise from the dead, and will be like new.

Tebow brings the Broncos back against a winless team, and he's being compared to Elway?

The most halarious thing is that Horsejaw Elway thought he would kill two birds with one stone by starting Tebow. Names Tebow as starter appeasing the fans, trades away the Donkeys best receiver all under the true guise of getting into the hunt for the number one draft pick next year. Tebow screws it all up by winning the game. Couldn't have worked out better

There is ONE way I can see Tebow being able to ave a chance at winning games with any level of consistency and it wont work against good defenses/defensive coordinators.

Full blown spread with an empty backfield 100% of the time.

That would mask his lacking accuracy/arm strength and would let him operate an offense that allows him to go through 2 or 3 reads and take of running against smaller defenders.

You give the guy a bunch of possession/blocking receivers (maybe one field stretcher) and let him run the ball 30% of the time.

The kid is a very strong runner, but needs to be hidden as a passer and thats the only circumstance I can see him being effective. His release will never allow him to be a traditional passer.

No way Fox does that.

He will give Tebow just enough rope to hang himself with and draft a firest round quarterback next year.

Just the way I see it.

Tebow is ****ing dog shit. By Denver drafting him with their first round pick, it was like giving us another first round pick. They draft Tebow, we draft Berry. That's like a double win right there.

Let us AFC West fans hope that Elway sees it the way Knowmo does. To say Tebow should have been #1 overall for the 5 mintues he played well in that game is beyond foolish. I love this kid. Every time I think he couldn't be more of a homer, he pulls out a new one.

This is his attempt to make it cool to not get Luck. If they lost they are getting Luck, if they won Tebow is better than Luck. What a wonderful world he lives in.

How many of Tebow's 4.5 games have you watched?

My bar for them is this - go .500 or better and if they do it, then I will say they have a lot of great potential. The game yesterday didn't give me a lot of hope, but I'll give them 10 games to prove me wrong. These next 10 games are going to be brutal, but if they're as good as some think and many hope... they'll finish at .500 during these 10.
Not trying to hate on you here, but you are insane if you think there is a snowballs chance in hell that Denver ends up winning 5 of the next 10. In fact, I'd be willing to wager that they won't win 3 of the next 10, and I think that is even a stretch. I mean, who are they gonna beat? Minnisota? Maybe, but Ponder has them playing inspired. The Chiefs in Denver? Maybe, but the Chiefs are playing fairly solid ball right now. I just don't see any other possible wins for them, and even those two are iffy. No way. Your team ends up 5 and 12 at best and Tebows inability to play QB effectively in the NFL will bear itself out over that time. You beat the freaking Dolphins, BARELY, by the skin of your teeth, thanks to a poor play by the Dolphins on an onside kick.

I think you misread me... if Tebow is what they hope and believe he can be, then I want 5 wins to convince me they don't need to be in the hunt for yet another QB. Any team can trip and fall into 2 wins out of 10, so I want 5... and it's probably due to the fact that many of the issues that Orton was unable to use as a pass seem to be ignored by many (media and fans). So, if Tebow is "all that", then produce 5 wins.

This is a similar take I had on Cassel at the beginning of the year. Back when he still had backers, I said, "If he's so good, then he'll take all this young talent in Charles, Bowe, Moeaki, Breaston, and some really good up-and-comers on the offensive line and lead us to a playoff win."

The response I got was, "There are plenty of great QBs in this league that took a while to get their first playoff wins. He needs more time, especially with this murderous schedule."
