FFS, two of the top four non-conference games in the entire Big 12 are against cellar dwellers in the SEC.

Let that sink in...if a Big 12 team plays the worst team in the SEC, that immediately becomes one of the best games of the Big 12 non-con.

10 best SEC non-con opponents: Clemson x2, Florida State, Oregon, Oklahoma State, Texas, Louisville, Virginia Tech, TCU, Miami.

I don't think you're going to see a legit publication blasting the SEC any time soon.

I think you've got it backwards. When you play nothing but cupcakes, 90% of your conference goes to bowl games. Teams only have to go 3-6 in conference, and that 90% was spotted the Kansas game. 2-6 isn't some great achievement.

Given the fact that there is no exit fee, it wouldn't take a revolt to leave. It's not like the Big 12 where teams line up to pay millions of dollars to leave.

Colorado said the PAC 12 was that much better. Nebraska said the B1G was that much better. Mizzou and aTm said the SEC was that much better.

Guess it all depends on what people prefer. Some like playing with the very best and worst teams, while some like a "socialist" setup where the teams are much more even. In the end it washes out since Sagarin had the SEC & Big 12 rated the same all season long until the very end.
