Obviously, I will get flamed.... but...

FACT:
- I am firmly on the DRAFT A QB NOW bandwagon.
- I acknowledge that drafting a LB very high in the draft is foolish.

POINT OF DISCUSSION:
- We have two PRIMARY needs (QB, MLB), and multiple other important needs (CB#2, S#2, WR#3, and depth everywhere).

I am wondering what drop off is between The first 2 QB's (Geno, Barkley) and the #3 QB (Wilson/Bray).

Are we best served taking a guy like MT from ND, and going QB with our 2nd - or possibly moving back into the first if need be?

Flame on, flamers.

What are the chances next years coaching staff wants to run the 4-3?
Personally, I can't imagine it, but wanted to throw the thought out there.

You know, I wonder that myself! It's a topic that is rarely, if at all discussed here on this board. I doubt you could find any kind of previous threads by use of the search function here that might attempt to shed some small glimmer of light onto this question. I for one, sincerely and truly appreciate you being able to share your concerns and throwing this thought here for us simple-minded midwestern folks that frequent this board. I assure you it would have never even entered the realm of possibility in my small, Stegosaurus brain.

Thanks goldtop!

That question was both compelling and rich.

Clearly it looks like our bigger need is ILB, and we're all set at QB--especially considering how much more important QB is than ILB.
Don't forget the youtube trick shot QB we signed that is on IR. So if we combined all four quarterbacks would that create one good one?

Some sort of FrankenQB? No brain amongst all of them. Maybe Abby Normal.

MLB is not a primary need.

CB is a primary need. DE will likely be a primary need.
