I would absolutely give up a 3rd rounder for this guy. He is the impact 3-4 DE that we have been missing and he would come very cheap financially to replace Jackson and Dorsey.

***** has nothing to do with the team getting a former first round pick that has actually played well for a drastic discount because the team is switching schemes.

I'd have no problem giving up a 4th rounder for a guy like Odrick. Shit, move a 4th for him and sign Ratliff for pennies when he hits the open market and we have a nice little DL for a couple years because other teams had scheme changes.

Odrick is only due salaries of 700,000 and 765,000 the next two years.

Anytime you can get a 25 year old quality starter for a 4th, YOU DO IT.

He had 11 sacks the last two years. It would be nice to get that kind of production or better from one of our 3-4 ends.

there were a lot of people here this week that wanted to bring in Chris Canty to play 5 tech before the combines and FA and Odrick is 10000000x better than him. So

But Canty is cheap, much like Shaun Smith, who was also a fan favorite.

The bottom line is that 5 techs are cheap and can be found everywhere.

Linebackers, cornerbacks and safeties are where it's at.
