Herm says he's not worried about Gonzo....he's been frustrated at times, he's not getting the ball enough...like every player. expects he'll get doubled now, and open up others.

Thinks he'll be here a long time, but he's not worried about it. At the end of the day, 27 and 88 are good players.

Thinks 88 plays like a HoF player because he is and does....doesn't have any affect of contract status..."tony gonzalez wants to win" He's not playing harder for a contract.....he wants to win.

Priest holmes....good question.....talk to carl, he talks to priest.

trent is moving along quite nicely, but is going to the doc today.....to see what he can do this week. He's getting ready to play here in the next couple of weeks or so....Its on the doctors, when they say he can play, he will....we'll get him involved with team activities.

only contact Green will get before the first start is a hug from Herman.....never live tackle in practice....sure wont' with green.

He'll have to hope for protection in pocket, when he gets tackled, he'll shake it off and move to the next play

Herm knew Solari would be better coordinator in week 8 than week 1...he's more confident in what he wants to do. Communicates with herm between series, gets advice from herm in situations to be on same page....talking about it before 4th down.

Solari getting more comfortable with players, situations in games.....at times, now you can hear his confidence on the phone....first game, maybe he wasn't. now he gets mad if they're not scoreing within 3 plays inside 5.

Herm communicates much the same way with Gun..."hey, this is what i'm thinking, what are you thinking"...other than that, they call the plays. You hire coaches because you trust them....why not trust them when the game starts? Trusts they'll make the right calls.......never seen a coord make a call he didn't think it would work.

3. can't get behind in 1st quarter
4. must control their running game first.
