Chiefs sign three-year deal with Craphonso Thorpe

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The Kansas City Chiefs agreed to a three-year contract Friday with wide receiver Craphonso Thorpe.

Thorpe joined the team as a fourth-round draft pick this year and spent 15 weeks on the practice squad. At Florida State, he caught 123 passes for 2,153 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Terms of Thorpe's deal with the Chiefs were not announced.

The team also placed tight end Kris Wilson on injured reserve with a thigh injury. Wilson played in 14 games this season, catching three passes for 33 yards. He played in just three games in his rookie season last year because of a broken leg.

I remember reading in the KC Star yesterday that Crap would be on the inactive list for today's game.
