***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

Everyone likes playing Denver. The 3 really good teams they've played have only had to play for 3 quarters

3. Demaryius Thomas — Is it still too early to declare that Thomas has joined the ranks of the NFL’s elite wideouts? The big third-year receiver has caught 30 balls for 513 yards and two TDs. He’s had three 100-yard games this season and is coming off a 9-188-0 performance against the Patriots. Thomas appears to be fully in sync with his new quarterback, Peyton Manning, who’s been routinely hitting Thomas in stride on shorter routes and letting him wreak havoc after the catch. The 6-3, 229-pound Thomas might be the hardest receiver to tackle since Sterling Sharpe, and Thomas is much, much faster than Sharpe was. Thomas and the Broncos visit San Diego for a Monday-night matchup against the Chargers, who let another big receiver, the Saints’ Marques Colston, rack up 9-131-3 against them last week.

Pass Rushing Productivity: The Story So Far

Can you believe five weeks of the season have already gone already?

Well to celebrate a fantastic start to the season I’m going to give you a sneak peek at what is available with the PFF Premium Package, and break down the first ever sig stat: Pass Rushing Productivity. So we’ll be looking at every defensive player who has rushed the passer at least 100 times and putting their pressure numbers through the PRP formula.

That means adding up all a players sack, hits and hurries (with hits and hurries valued at three quarters that of a sack), dividing that number by the number of pass rushes and job done.

Now, the numbers.

Mighty Miller

If you’ve been on Pro Football Focus once or twice over the past year you’ll know we’ve developed a pretty high opinion of the play of Von Miller. As a rookie he was sensational, and he’s showing no signs of slowing down in his sophomore season. He leads our Pass Rushing Productivity stat after registering a pressure on 21.4% of all his pass rushes. He may not lead the league in sacks but there isn’t a player out there impacting quarterbacks as much as the Bronco.

Enh, we'll see... the Chargers aren't as good as the Texans, Falcons or Patriots... Denver can win this one. Doesn't mean they will, it's a divisional game on the road which is always tough.

Rivers is my fantasy QB. It is a good weekend to have him. I will leave it at that.

If they do, and I read one more Donkey homer saying they will 'most likely' win the division, If I were a mod that would be a perma-ban.

Teams were tuning in to see Big Ben, Tom, and the undefeated Texans push that shit in.
