Is it possible that you're sleeping with these other women (the ones you've been boasting about in this thread) as some means of trying to fill the gap left when you broke up with your ex? If so, it might be counter-productive in terms of emotional healing.

It's my opinion that being secure with your single, mostly-sexless life is very important for entering into a real relationship again. Occupying your newly-single self with fun (but meaningless) hookups may not really allow you to ever fully detach from your residual emotional need for sex, leading you to think of your ex during sexual dry-spells.

Obviously, different people's minds work in different ways, so my advice might not even apply to you; still, it's at least worth thinking about.

I haven't thought about that, but maybe. There hasn't been any kind of dry-spell though. I just think I see something that reminds me of her then I just dwell on it.
