I am leaning PS4 but I probably will not indulge in the launch versions of these consoles. The launch titles just aren't that appealing.

Most of you guys would be buying BF4 or the new COD on day 1 if the new consoles weren't coming out. Might as well buy the new console + COD/BF4 and Watch Dogs...

I just want to get my hands on the new PS4 day one, I'll worry about the games later. For the first two months I'll enjoy whatever I'm playing just because I'll be playing on the new console.

I think this was a similar issue with the 360 if I remember correctly - which is a reason I'm not overly concerned about getting a preorder in. I'm not sure they'll be able to meet the demand.

If you preorder a launch edition from Amazon you're guaranteed a console on release day if you choose 2 day shipping.

I preordered mine last week at Gamestop. Guaranteed a launch console. Thus why I did Gamestop not Amazon

Hadn't seen anything on this... PS4 walked away with 38,984 votes while the Xbox One had 2,162 votes.

My guess is the reports PS4 outselling XBone 2-1 or 3-2 are misleading due to three things. The people who will buy both regardless, XBone fans willing to wait&see, and people not pre-ordering b/c they doubt they'll actually get a launch day console b/c of demand.
