My Take: Best game by the Chiefs so far this season

NOTE: This analysis excludes the garbage 77yd TD with 2min and change left in the 4th.

Best, most complete game of the year for our Chiefs. Great execution. We completely dominated TOP having the ball for more than 40 mins. It was also a game that we truly WON, not only benefiting off of the other team's mistakes and turnovers, a la NYJ and WAS games.

- Pass D: MUCH improved!! Only gave up 202 pass yards including the garbage time 77yd TD. Surtain blanketed Chambers all night long and none of the WRs or their stellar TE McMichael did any real damage.

- Run D: Gave up the one big play, but still kept them under 100 yards rushing.

- Offense: scored 6 or more points in every quarter. Most consistent performance of the year.

- Run game: great job! Both Priest and LJ got around the same number of touches, about the same yards, both scored. Both ran well. Line looked good, especially the left side with big Willie. Priest finished 18carries for 90yds and LJ had 23car for 93yds

- Pass game: Best it's looked all year. Got everyone involved. Dante, Eddie, Chris Horn, and Bo all had receptions. Tony G had his breakout game thusfar this season, leading all receivers with 7 catches for 67 yards.

- Special teams: Tynes kicked the hell out of the ball and was accurate. Excellent job!! Dustin boomed the ball when he needed to and kept it out of the end zone as well. Can still improve on his kicks, but not bad. Also kick return coverage still needs to improve.

We get the win, we look good, and now we get 2 extra days of rest and preparation before we travel to San Diego.

A few extra days.

Getting this win showed alot of character, IMO. To go down there on short notice and play like that is... impressive. (to say the least)

I was really impressed with the D. They were just crushing people. Yes, they gave up some big plays... but I think you'd have to be blind to not see improvement.

Gotta be excited about Tynes too.... I feel alot better about him.

Dunn had some huge catches, too.

Considering the circumstances and the fact that we never win in that place, I'm extremely pleased. Far from perfect and still plenty of work to do, but at this point I'll take the W and run... this whole thing was a quagmire.

A total of 296 yards on O for the Phins, take away the two big plays, 142 yards, and the CHIEFS held the Phins to 154 Yards. I didn't get tos ee the game, didn't check the planet until after the game was done so got to listen to the off again on again broadcast from KCFX and watch the incredible boring lines back and forth on CBS Sportsline. Wish I could have seen the game but I will miss everyone if it results in a win every week, GO CHIEFS

You can't "take away" anything.

Still a nice job by the D, over all.

Very Impressive win IMO. Whats encouraging is the defense continues to grow each week. If they could just stop giving up the big plays, we could really be top notch.

Trent Green just played a phenomenal game tonight. He was under pressure quite a bit.

Really impressed with our run D and running game.

Offense, especially the passing offense had it's breakout game.

I didnt get to see the game, like many people, but from the way that Len Dawson and Mitch Holthus called the game, I like the way that the defense is improving in terms of its physicality on the field.

After being pushed around for the past several seasons, its good to see them finally being the ones doing the pushing.

Main thing I can see right now is the special teams play, and getting the penalties under control. Who knows how many points this team would have racked up had they not been stopping themselves with penalties.
