Obama Buys Debt Ceiling Debacle - Rejects GOP Offer

Obama Rejects G.O.P. Offer of Short-Term Debt Limit Plan

By JACKIE CALMES and ASHLEY PARKER

At a meeting at the White House, President Obama turned down the proposal from Republicans to extend the nation’s borrowing authority for six weeks because it would not also reopen the government.

You guys are depending on the Tea Party to not continuing to do stupid things.

They will continue to do stupid things between now and Nov.

They didn't KNOW, that is hindsight talking. They SHOULD HAVE known for sure but they didn't know the rollout was going to crater this badly. Not even close. Anyone saying they KNEW it would fall completely flat is lying to you. There was simply no way to know. It was a solid likelihood but not a known fact.

Yes there are a few ways to "delay" things but I think most of them are off the table now. That is my entire POINT. Those options are no longer available because they will be seen as a huge win for the gOP where as before they would have been just minor setbacks for the Dems.

From the article I provided they were told about the problems and glitches, they may have been ignored but they were told none the less. Now whether they knew it was going to be this bad I agree they probably didn't think this would happen.

HHS can delay the enrollment period and it wouldn't surprise me if it is not extended sometime in February or early March.

Yes, rollout IT problems are going to sink Obamacare.

Just like Rollout It problems sunk WoW, and SimCity, and GTA, and any other massively huge online undertaking. All those are complete failures because of the problems they had or still have when they update.

Because there are IT problems, Obamacare is cancelled and Palin is automatically president.

The private market has proven that consumers are not adversely turned away by launch technical problems.

There is a long list of examples to support this.

And you know this. Which is why you have responded like the child throwing a temper tantrum.

But go ahead and ignore all that. Ignore the egg on your face from being wrong over the last two weeks. Move on to the next world-ending evil whatever from the liberal empire that will totally happen. Continue to believe that Obamacare will destroy this country but a default will be a okay.

Hey ignat, it's funded by state taxpayers, it's controlled by a state board of regents, there is nothing private about it with the exception of what you add on your own after taxpayers like me fork over the first 12%.

Our "state", with it's conservative thinking, has created a system to save you from you and your ilk's sorry as liberal thinking and covering your ass. You're just to self centered and indignant to admit it.

A fitting comparison of you scoffing at people retiring at 65 is if they changed SDRS rules all of a sudden to you not being vested until 40 years of service. I bet you'd have a problem with that.

"Controlled" by state regents, correct. However, individual taxpayers within our communities are the ones paying taxes--private individuals. Sioux Falls taxpayers, due to the "equalization" sham, pay not only for our schools, but a large chunk goes to/is stolen for schools in the backwoods--places like Spink county. So you clowns don't even have to really pay for your schools, because we are paying for a chunk. Our community also CHOOSES to pay more (by "opting out,") in order to raise the paltry and pathetic "bar" for a quality education that our state "leaders" have set for us--so that we can provide better schools for our children.

Very clearly, the state does NOT fund our schools; our community's private citizens do. The state merely confiscates the money, and distributes it to please their Tea Party cronies throughout the state.

I'm right about everything I posted. You're either too morally corrupt or too stupid to admit it.

You're a government teet sucker that cries anytime someone wants to cut your gravy train. I'm going to call you on it every time.
