Pretty rich coming from someone that is part of a state funded retirement program that pays roughly 50% annual salary compensation after only 30 years of service. You're a hypocritical hack kotter.

State funded???

That exposes your folly. Read slowly, it is ENTIRELY self-funded....yes, SELF-FUNDED. Go check it for yourself.

Unlike liberal states or 401Ks....there is no matching from the state. Period.

That's a pretty pathetic example of hypocrisy...

(I do agree the entire budgetary mess is owned by both parties, but this latest debacle really isn't).

But keep spinning your lies and spewing your stupidity.

I'm required to place 5% of my salary into the fund, and I can choose to supplement it with a 403B plan (401K for teachers)....when I retire I get it back, with interest earned over the last 30 years.

If that's your idea of "state funded" you are crazier than I thought....

Reminds me of the "strategy" for post-war Iraq, which would be a joke if it weren't so unfunny...
I think it is obvious now the best strategy would have been to keep the government open, extend the debt ceiling and let the very bad roll out of Obamacare be front and center.

There was no way they were going to get any concessions or repeal Obamacare so I don't even know why they tried and wasted such a great opportunity. The bad thing is we get to do it all over again in a few months.
