Nubs will make less than every major conference team in the country until 2017. That is a significant loss of cash flow, no matter how many projects they dream up.

Nubs were desperate and took by far the worst deal of anyone in realignment. Junior members shouldn't act so uppity.
No impact on the athletics whatsoever. Mizzou fans still salty the big 10 didn't want them.

I sure was pissed about it at the time, but now I see it for the blessing that it was. The only thing about it that sucks for me is that I would have been able to attend more games in person had they gone to the Big Whatever. But it's much better for the program that things shook out the way they did.
