I'm saying, I'm more of a realist than you. I don't care to see him wear red and gold ever again, even if it was at McDonalds. But I also don't pretend to know if Matt casshole could salvage his career or not, here, someplace else or as a bag boy for save-a-lot. All I'm saying is it would be funny/ entertaining to me. Nothing more, nothing less.

There is no way Cassel salvages what little career he's had. His poor pocket presence, inability to complete throws under pressure, lack of accuracy, poor throwing mechanics + slow release, and inability to complete throws down the field are so significant that at his age it is literally impossible.

And many thought there was literally no way Hali would ever be successful in the 3-4. Again I say, you just don't know. Weis got production out if him. Again, to reiterate for the mouth breathers, I am not saying I want him to stay.

And many thought priest wouldn't even make the team after his injury, again I said, you never know. Now in priest's and Hali's cases I WAS rooting for them.

Guys like Matt Cassel don't have good NFL careers.

It's like asking if Gus Frerotte could salvage his career.

You say you're a realist...why ignore the reality of every other shitty QB that has come through the league?

Cassel isn't suddenly going to develop pocket presence, accuracy or non-shitty Qb traits at 31.

He's done.

If we do in fact cut him, would he gain any interest from another team?

Priest and Hali had ACTUAL TALENT.

And in Priest's case, most people thought he wouldn't regain his old form, and he never did. It was an embarrassingly pathetic "comeback."

So we can potentially have how much space total by cutting Tyson and Cassel in combined with the roll over?
106-21= 85

The cap should be set at 121 million.

No clue, stanzi is still on our roster, Vick just resigned, tebow is still on a team. Would you really rather have Vick, stanzi, and tebow over casshole?
