There are still people who want us taking Wilson over Geno (mostly over at Arrowhead Addict). Clay should transpose Wilsons head on one of those Tiny Hands BK commercials for the whole commercial.

This board's Geno Boner is pretty big. And awesome. And I like it.

But going back to 2009, there was a serious Sanchize Boner. Which one is/was bigger?

The Geno boner is way bigger. The 2009 draft was a bitter ****ing clash between like three different mindsets. This year? I've never seen CP so unified.

Yeah, it was a pretty unbearable off-season. CP wasn't even enjoyable most of the time. I don't remember the various arguments for QB that year outside of Sanchez. Was Cassel actually championed by a collective group on CP before we acquired him?

I was pretty sure this boner is bigger; but thanks for the reaffirmation fellas. 2009 just seems like such a long, long depressing time ago.

Yep. There are guys that like Wilson better here, Barkley better there, but that's not a big deal to most of the board, and it's understandable.

Kumbayyah and all that jazz.

It's because most of the people here have a pretty high football acumen and Geno's potential is undeniable.

I almost have to think that Clark Hunt will intervene.

"I don't know if you guys saw Arrowhead last year, fellas. But you guys weren't brought here to draft us a better 5-tech."

I am continually surprised at the level of optimism I see in this thread that the Chiefs will somehow get a clue and draft Geno. They have basically already come out and sworn to everybody that they won't, in a very clear, no-way-in-hell fashion. Like I think a plane full of other players would have to crash on the way home from the combine for them to even give it another thought. It's not like there is any reason for them to smokescreen. They have come out so strong on this that now if they were to draft Geno the first question would be, "wait, didn't you tell us that there wasn't even a QB worthy of the first ROUND?"

**** Reid. **** Dorsey. **** the Chiefs. It's not happening. The commitment to mediocrity will continue.

My optimism is actually resolve. If they don't pick him, I won't be a fan any longer so it's a win-win for me.
