Excluding QB, what is the biggest singular offensive positional need.

Caveat in the OP because there's no sense rehashing the same arguments that have been trotted out by both sides over the last four years.

Pole 4th coming

I'm a fan of Spencer Ware continuing to start games for us, and the team seems pretty determined to play Charles until he turns into a brain in a jar. I'm also not a fan of West.

We'll need a RB, but it's not terribly important which round we draft one in. I'd be just fine burning both of our 6ths on RBs and seeing what sticks, kind of like how we addressed OL in 2014 by going back to back on Fulton and LDT

None listed are immediate needs. If to look slightly beyond 2017, it would have to be OG, right now. Contracts for some OL are running out.

For 2017, I guess OT/3 would be more of the need. I don't want to see Reid out there anymore, if something were to happen to Fisher or Schwartz.

Nothing wrong with Ware as RB1 or West as RB2. Add a good RB on day 3, and hope that scheme/OL can do their jobs.

Guard . We need to develop the very best OL in the NFL to be successfull. Smith gets rid of the ball faster than any QB in the NFL right now which works against the talent we have at WR.

I voted running back, but I think it's a toss up between RB and guard. We don't know just how strong Ehinger will be when he comes back, so some insurance there wouldn't hurt.

West clearly regressed last season. An upgrade at RB would be welcomed, especially with Charles' status uncertain.

I think West played hurt... there were some whispers of that all year.

But yeah, we need a bellcow.

I felt like West was showing more positive play later in the season. Either way, even if KC uses a 3rd day pick on RB, that should provide enough competition for the RB2 spot.

I think they need competition at RB1.

Ware looked like a guy that couldn't handle a full workload and isn't likely to get you much more than you block for him.

If they think they only need to improve at RB2, they're setting themselves up for another struggle in the run game. They desperately need a guy that can bounce one and break it long.

If it turns out that all they do is improve at RB2, that's not the end of the world because it will mean that Ware has won the job. But they need to bring someone in that presents a legitimate threat to his job. He's a waiver wire pickup with maybe 6-8 good games on his resume, that's not someone you leave as an unquestioned starter. That's Marcus Cooper.
