Would you want Hootie unbanned?

Well, would you?

Patteau and Saul Good think Hootie's banning is an outrage.

Do you?

I'm curious to see what the majority of CP thinks.

PHOBIA DON'T CHANGE THE RESULTS OF THIS POLL because, according to Hootie, you have a history of rigging poll results.

Discus.

I have a bar/pizza shack at which I am a regular. The owner and I get along famously. He hired a bartender about a year ago and our personalities clashed. He didn't care for me nor I for him. I started to avoid the place on nights he worked. Then he started working nights I went to the place. I knew I needed to figure it out or find a new watering hole. I started seeking him out and talking to him. Got to know him a bit. Let him get to know me. Tipped him appropriately. Kept it civil and gave it a chance. We're not exactly tight now but he doesn't cringe when I walk in and I don't leave shortly after arriving to see him keeping bar. It was no huge sacrifice on my part. A bigger sacrifice would have been leaving that joint to find a place I like as well. I'm no genius but it's really not that hard to get along with the bartender if you stop spitting beer down his neck and make an effort.

As to the OP... Who gives a ****?

This place is evolving into either pages of Hootie talking about Hootie, or when he's banned, Other people talking about Hootie.
It's a lot of attention for a, at best, marginally talented poster. Unfortunately, a small group of vocal posters have fed into the idea that he "drives football conversations." Guess what... Football drives football conversations. Interesting topics drive football conversations. Self-congratulations, repeating the same point ad nauseum, and trying to make funnys drives posts (it's not the same thing).
Either way, there's an unhealthy obsession with the guy, and its making this place boring as hell.

Also...I'm quite entertained this morning watching Phil do his usual deflecting when Saul makes a good point about how terrible of a moderator he is.

I'm sorry for making fun of WPI, Fatchatter and you wasting money on buying a ****ing newspaper in the world of the Internet, Phil. I hope someday you'll forgive me for calling you out to be the failure that you are.

I'm sorry that the kPhobia days of 2000-2002 where you thought you were some sort of "legend" didn't work out for you and your kPhobia "brand" didn't end up making you any money (probably just lost a lot for buy a ****ing newspaper for some reason).

Ok time for me to go register for 5 new accounts.

P.S. All of you dumbasses saying Geno Smith is better than Cam Newton is making me want to vomit. Stop.
Why would you think i'd want to take the time out to search for your football opinions? You think i care enough about you to take the time to actually seek out your football takes? Wtf?

Like i said, all you do is whine, bitch and complain. And look, here you are again, crying some more.

agree.

I've met hootie. as I've posted here before, not only did he do me a favor, but I thought he was a pretty nice guy. makes me wonder how many other people here that i think are dipshits could also be all right in rl.

i guess it's that online image we all have...sometimes it's pretty much the same as we are in rl. sometimes it's not. over time though, I've seen certain cp members change from a-holes to decent posters(and also the other way around). then again, some never change, and some never forget that we've ****ed up before and always hold it against them/us.

****...what was i talking about? anyway, i don't give a shit if he's banned or not. it's like watching andy griffith reruns on tv.
