If I flip through the cable listings and see "War of the Worlds" ('53 or '05) one more time, I'll scream.

Forrest Gump seems to be on CBS, ABC, or TBS at least once a week.

JAWS is just brilliant. The chemistry between Scheider, Shaw and Dryeyfuss is perfect. It will never get old for me.
Jerry MaGuire and the Lethal Weapon flicks I love, but i have to agree with you that TBS and TNT wear them out.

Sounds like the friggin listings around here. And how many damn Jaws and Lethal Australian sequels did they make ? Seems like about 12 of each.

Any of those pixar films. I swear I've memorized every line of Toy Story and yet I can't turn away.

Groundhog Day.
Great film, but I don't think I've seen it spammed more on my satellite channels. I will not watch it. I've seen it at least 6 or 7 times over the last 10 years.

Also, it seems some channel is always showing cheesy disaster flicks like "Twister", "Volcano", or that A&E "SuperVolcano", and "Armageddon" damn tired of it.

There are some old stand-by's like Terminator or Predator and Fast Times at Ridgemont High that i rarely pass up, but even those dont seem to be on 1/2 as much as those other 3. My ex used to work for the local FOX affiliate and got to pick the movies and i got to look at the catalogue and help and its just amazing how many forgotten old gems never get on. Just another tired ride on the Riggs&Murtaugh train.

I've been thinking about renting it. Let me know what you think. There was a thread about it and the general consensus was it was a pretty good flick.
