The Border Showdown between the University of Missouri and the University of Kansas returns to Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, November 29th. Chiefs season-ticket holders are being offered an exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets to this Big 12 football contest through Wednesday, April 2nd.

The 2007 edition of the Border Showdown featured two nationally-ranked teams as the second-ranked Kansas Jayhawks and fourth-ranked Missouri Tigers battled for the Big 12 North Title. The 116th installment between these bitter border rivals drew 80,537 fans, the second-largest in-stadium crowd for a football contest in Arrowhead Stadium history.

Kansas City serves as the ideal host for this great rivalry, as the metro area is home to over 25,000 alumni and current students for both universities. The centralized location of Kansas City pairs with Arrowhead’s reputation as a showplace for outstanding college football to maximize the exposure for fans of both schools.

Hopefully MU is in the Big XII championship game again this year. That would mean back to back games at Arrowhead. Maybe they can win it this year.

Hopefully, the Chiefs play at home that weekend too so we'll have a full weekend of tailgating again this year.....wrt the Chiefs that may be all that we have to look forward to.
