***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

All I'm trying to say is...if Peyton is the ultimate choker this board makes him out to be...

what does it say when...Tom Brady has now won 9 straight division titles (well 8 forgot about the Cassel year) and he has lost every single time?

The fact of the matter is...the NFL playoffs are more like the MLB playoffs than the NBA playoffs. The best team doesn't ALWAYS win...on any given Sunday the opposing team can get all the bounces (Giants two Super Bowl wins) and that's all it takes.
He still has more SB rings than Peyton has SB appearances. At the end of the day, Peyton has been there twice and in the second one it was his pick 6 that cost the Colts. When it mattered most, Peyton failed to deliver. Call it choking or whatever, but it is what it is.

my only defense to the Peyton pick 6 was he knew the circumstances...they had to score with more than 3:30 on the clock otherwise he'd tie the game up only for Drew to march right down into field goal range and win the Super Bowl...

all Tom Terrific needed in the 18-1 year was a field goal and he took two crushing sacks on their final series.

I can make as many choke job cases for Tom as I can for Peyton...Peyton never had a kicker, that's for sure.

Seriously. I've done this time and time again. I have more ammo for this than you can even imagine. Ask yourself...is it worth it?

for the record I refuse to rank those two against each other anymore. It's to the point where I consider them totally equal.

That is impressive, and surprising. I didn't realize the Chiefs had scored three touchdowns this year.

According to NFL record keeping, Kansas City apparently became the league's first team to net 350 yards rushing (352) and lose a game

What exactly would have to happen to remove your suspicion?

This is why all the top offensive teams are also so good on defense.

The 5 top offenses are NE, DET, NO, DEN, WAS. Their defenses are ranked 27,13, 31, 3 and 28.

The Cowboys had the #1 defense last season but they were suspect..

All that talking and you basically just named Miller, Dumervil and Bailey. You've got those guys and a bunch of other guys that range anywhere from warm bodies to solid starters.

I'm curious as to who this other Pro Bowl LB is? Please don't tell me you're referencing DJ Williams..
