Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

If a rookie QB can come in and succeed on a new team in the NFL, Peyton Manning shouldn't have any problems. Everybody has been running the same plays since high school. Learning the terminology is the hardest part and even then it should only take a month for Manning to get it down. Hell, I bet that Manning already knows the terminology.

No, Manning won't have the same cohesion he had with Marvin Harrison as he will with Eric Decker this year, but they will be good enough. Tom Brady ALWAYS has new pieces around him and they make it work. I guarantee you that Brandon Lloyd will make the Pro Bowl this year in NE and he has never played with Brady before.

The Donks' D wasn't shitty. They were pretty good against the run and had an elite pass rush last year. The thing they struggled against was when teams spread them out. The Donks went out this offseason and added Tracy Porter, Drayton Florence, and Omar Bolden. The Donks will be much better against teams who spread them out this year.

Offenses will take a different approach vs Denver this yr because of Manning.

They will try to run it to keep the ball away from him. But Manning will also let the Broncos play with a lead in most games and the other team will be forced to pass against us and will have to deal with VonDoom, Wolfe, and our revamped secondary.

they went to playoffs for no other reason than the AFCW stinks and being the best of a bunch of losers is what it is. 8-8 is back dooring it and capitalzing on the failures of three other teams. (NTTAWWT)

Against Green Bay, Kyle Orton threw 3 INT's.

Detroit got out to a 17-3 lead and forced Tebow to beat them with his arm. The Donks couldn't move the ball, which led to a lot of three and outs and good field position for Detroit.

Against the Bills, Tebow had 4 TO's.

Against the Patriots, the Donks were actually up 16-7 in the second quarter until the Donks lost three straight fumbles and forced Tebow to play from behind.

I'm not saying that the Donks defense didn't play bad in those games, I'm just saying there isn't much that they could have done.

Well, Manning threw 17 INTs in 2010. How are they gonna deal with that?

The Donk's defense can deal with a turnover once a game from Manning. That wouldn't be an issue at all. What was an issue last year was the complete ineptness of the offense for long stretches in games last year. The Donks were the third worst third down offense in the NFL last year.

That isn't going to happen with Manning. In fact, Peyton Manning has had a top 5 third down offense 10 times in his 13 year career. (The only times he didn't have a top 5 third down offense were in his rookie year, in his second year where they were ranked 8th, and in 2003 when they were ranked 7th)
