Just goes to show when a guy has an offseason to condition himself and not just rehab an injury how much difference there is.

I missed this! Anyone have a gif of it? Did he throw on some street clothes and sneak over to their sideline to do it? Or was it a tweet that he destroyed him with, perhaps using a clever combination of words to point out that he was hurt and didn't get to appear in the game?

Remember when Terez said on his podcast in training camp that he asked Justin Houston about experts now placing him as the 4th best pass rusher in his own division and he looked pissed? I think he's been pissed off about that all offseason.

And it wasn't just Houston. Dee Ford almost had 3 sacks as well. He hit Brady 3X...2 of those were him beating the LT and Brady seeing it and getting rid of it in less than 3 seconds.

This entire front 7 was annhilating last night. Bennie Logan was in the backfield consistently, Chris Jones was eating 2 OL and pushing single blockers into Brady's face and so was Bailey.

This unit is finally healthy and they looked elite.

I was worried about losing POE, but I'll be damned if 96(Logan?) wasn't getting massive push up the middle all night

This is one of the reason's why I hope and believe we can withstand losing EB...

The run defense last night was much better, allowing only 3.5 YPC. When Sutton stopped rushing just 3, we were getting heat on Brady in some capacity almost every time.

And most importantly, the offense looked... very hard to stop. And people can say what they want about Alex Smith, but when you have the suppporting cast that he currently has, it's hard not to be good.

Hoping EB is okay cause he's irreplaceable, but we are better suited to work through it than ever before.

They started playing what looked like 2 DT's and 2 OLB/DE's on passing downs.

It worked quite well in the end.

They rushed 3 and dropped 8 and made Brady throw it down field.

He's not a very great downfield thrower anymore and it worked

Several idiots still claim that Sutton doesn't make adjustments. I saw him make adjustments last night. It appeared that early on he got scared after Gaines got beaten in what appeared to be man coverage. Then they ran a lot of zone and a lot of 3 man rushes in the first half. In the second half, they played a lot more man and were physical with the Pats receivers. And, most importantly, allowed Houston and Ford to rush the passer.

Reminded me of what they did in Denver in Mannings last year. Brady doesn't look that done, but they took away his drinks and dunks and it showed.

Suttons defenses have had incredible 4th Qs in recent years. Phenomenal adjustments.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Sutton had a serious problem with his teams adjusting in the 2nd half his first couple of years.

Personnel upgrades, system familiarity, and Sutton just getting better at his job explains the D's improvement.

Oh, and Kendrick Lewis being cut helped immediately.
