It's a slang term...like stupider. Neither is proper English but both are English words. You'll just sound less educated if you use them. Especially if you're interacting with an Englishman.

I just agreed season three sucked, I don't care about the characters anymore, and the writing has been shit IMO, and they should have ended it after season 2.

I had a similar opinion once, but then I actually watched season 4 (which was objectively the strongest of the bunch). When/if you do the same, I suspect that opinion will change.
