I might have met "the one"
Excuse me for getting too personal... again. I started seeing a girl just a few weeks ago (yeah I know). She's awesome. What we have in common we're both passionate about and what we don't have in common we respect each other about and learn from each other. I realize a few weeks is nothing but this girl just seems different. (a comment open to critisizm again)

As some of you know I've been divorced for 8 years after being married for almost 12. I've dated a handful of times and had what I thought were 2 serious girlfriends since then... but it turned out they weren't. For the last 3 years in September I've sworn off women. It made me happy to not have anyone to worry about but me and kiddo and I really liked it. I got to know myself and get comfortable with who I am and I think that's an important thing to be aware of. I wasn't looking for someone. I didn't even want someone. Then she came along.

I won't go into details more and bore everyone with how she is and what we like to do... but damn it's nice to hold her while we watch a movie and hold hands and cuddle. Yes there's more than that which this probably stupid proclimation is based on. (sorry... I'm a bad speller).

Maybe after 3 years I'm just too easy to impress. I don't feel like that's the case though.

Tell me how stupid I am if you want. I thought I'd learned this lesson before. Maybe I didn't.

The most you could have seen a person in a few weeks in 14 times. Much too soon to be talking about "the one". Don't think about it in those terms and just roll with it to see where it goes. It's good that you've found someone you enjoy being with. The sex is good, then?
