I always loved Mike Patrick, and Paul McGuire. everything else is bleh to me.
Kevin Harlan, and Rich Gannon would prolly be my favorite, but that's mostly because of Harlan.

I'm torn on this one between Nantz/Simms and Buck/Aikman.
I prefer Nantz on the PBP but Aikman on the commentary. I'll choose Buck/Aikman but for me it's close. On the undercard, it's Harlan/whoever and not even close, although that's somewhat nostalgic. Nessler/Mayock are horrible, and so is Dan Dierdorf. |

I know I'm in the minority on this, but I liked Gus Johnson. Commentating is one of those things where if you don't do stuff or sound differently than others, nobody knows who you are. For most people they view that as a plus, yet I saw dozens of complaints when the Chiefs played on Thursday this year that Brad Nessler is a lifeless corpse whose TD calls sound as average as a 1st and 10 draw play for 3 yards. Gus rarely goofed up stats or names, he had energy, and if your team ever made big plays with him making the call, they instantly became far more memorable.
Plus, let's get real. Is going "OHHHH!" really that much worse than Dick Enberg's "Oh my!" or Marv Albert's "YUHS!" |

Spero Dedes should win this in a landslide.

Alberts/Gannon is my preference. Everyone listed is a variation of a milquetoast and innoffesive theme.

I like Tirico but hate Gruden.
I like Michaels but hate Collinsworth. I would like a Tirico/Michaels duo. |
