Ed Werner has the same concern I do...he said the only real question he has about Geno is his ability to absorb an NFL playbookwell enough to play his rookie year....even said he has questions about his ability to absorb a whole playbook in his second year.

I know some of you discount it and think Im overreacting, but that Mooch interview where Geno had a hard time repeating west coast verbage and retaining the plays progressions were eye opening for me and they are really the only real questions I have about the kid.

If he gets drafted to a team that plays him right away, they should be prepared to use a partial playbook at the beginning of the year and work more in as they go.

I still think KC would be the perfect place for him to go because he wouldn't need to play right away and he could learn from one of the smarter and more efficient quarterbacks in the NFL.

Oh well.

I said a similar thing too , he might suck his 1st year but should start making strides in his 2nd year.

Meanwhile, Barkley interviewed as bad as Geno(worse to me actually given his familiarity with the WCO and his touted football IQ). Then, the man who has now interviewed both(Gruden), sings Geno's praise about his work pre snap and knowledge of a offense with limitless options , speaks highly of his intelligence, and will be shocked if he doesn't go #1...

If we don't, then their lack of diligence is going to make me extremely nervous for the future. Not that the trade for A. Smith hasn't already done that.
