UD, the last time the lowly Raiders pulled off a massive upset against a division rival it resulted in a change of direction for the team...

it will be interesting to see if this win has the same emotional impact.

I still think Skerry Collins sucks and combined with no running game are a weak link but those no name WRs looked solid, the defense showed a great deal of heart, and the special teams (sans SJ) were clutch.

Could be a springboard...

He looked rather toasty on the sideline. I'll ask him in a few weeks how he's doing and let you know.

I'm thinkin' yeah - springboard. The team actually started climbing out of the Crib of Infancy against Sandy Eggo last week, started operating as a team again, compiling all those new components into something with a chance of working. Kerry started to get a feel for how to drive that thing. When you're on the bottom, the only way to go is up..... but alas, it'll be next season before anything counts. Gotta get somebody like Ricky Weedums to run the ball, though. He's here in NoCal just up the road a piece & still talking about his like for Norv Turner. Next year, we contend. For the rest of this season, we spoil. And fall behind KC in the Draft Race.
