It isn't so much the head coach, but who his staff would be. If he brings in the same lamos he had in Buffalo, he would suck again. We need a HC that can build a quality staff.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Williams as down with Gunther. With him as HC, keep AS and O coaching staff, and Gun with all new D trainers/coaches of his and Gregg's choosing. I'd take that.

A little revisionist history, I wonder what our team would look like if we would have hired Williams instead of Gunther 2 years ago???

Gregg Williams has had a great D everywhere he is gone. With the right OC, he could be a great coach. I'd be extremely satisfied with Williams as long as we brought in a Coryell guy on offense and fired Gun.

I still think Gunther would be good, just bring in his own defensive coaches and hopefully the problem is solved.

I think we must find a defensive guy to be the HC for next year. We have some nice talent on D. DJ, Allen, Warfield, Surtain, Knight, Mitchell. I think with the Right HC we could contine to revamp the D, then focus the O around LJ and the running game.
