British Open Thread...
..Thought I'd start this early, since the 1st round starts Thursday.

My favorite PGA Irishman - Padraig Harrington - withdrew today due to the passing of his father.

May the road rise to meet him...

Woods had seven birds in nine holes and had pretty fair weather. But he didn't leave the the rest of the field in the dust.

A cluster of folks within 3 and 4 shots.

'Jelly' Montgomery is playing pretty steady. -1 to Tiger's E as they head to #9

Monty actually playing well is a huge suprise especially considering he is playing with Tiger.

Very lame of ABC not to have coverage in HD after TNT has been shoing it in HD the 1st 2 rounds.
