NFL Instant Replay Review
Why does the referee need to go to a camera on the sideline to review?
Why can the NFL not implement a system in which a replay official in the booth reviews the plays in question and makes the call? In watching these preseason games, the sideline review is adding unnecessary time to the the review process more than ever because of the new rules in place that calls for automatic reviews on TDs. It is simply ridiculous to send the ref to the sidelines for these reviews. |
