Tippins Strawberry pie better win this one. I call it mother ****ing pie cause it's as addictive as crack.

Did you have sex with your mother while you were on crack or something?

Apple Crisp vs. York Peppermint Patties

I like apple crisp, but the cool taste of a York peppermint patty is going win. Mint + Chocolate = Win.

Chocolate Mousse vs. Tippins Strawberry Pie

Strawberry pie is pretty much just strawberries in a crust. It's not really pie. Gimme that mousse.

Angel Food Cake vs. Peach crisp over Blue Bunny vanilla ice cream

Not a huge angel food cake fan. It's hard to cut with a fork and then it gets your hands sticky if you eat it by hand. I'll go with the peach crisp, ice cream on the side.

McDonald's Fried Apple Pie vs. Chocolate truffles

Chocolate truffles. I ate the McDonald's pies when I was 16.

Chocolate Halvah vs. Sopapilla with Honey

I can't quite figure out what the halvah is, and suspect that I'm committing some type of religious crime if I eat it. Sopapilla shouldn't be good if you look at it on paper, but it rocks. I'll go with the Mexicans over the Jews in this matchup.

To be honest there are a handful of things on your polls I have never heard of. I have never been much of a sweets guy and very rarely eat dessert. Still kind of surprising there were that many I had simply never heard of~

Dude, I **am** a sweets guy and love dessert and there are still things on these polls I've never even heard of, much less tried.

Apple crisp - Not too thrilled about either of these, but I'll take the apples over the mint.

Tippins strawberry pie - Both of these are good, but I love strawberries.

Peach crisp over Blue Bunny vanilla ice cream - This is a tossup of meh to me, but right now I'd rather have the ice cream.

Chocolate truffles - By a mile.

Chocolate Halvah - This was an accidental vote. I've never had either of these and frankly the wiki description of halvah scared me a little bit so I intended to vote for the sopapilla, but I'll go ahead and give the halvah a try. At least it's chocolate.

You've never had sopapilla? Run, don't walk, to your nearest Mexican restaurant and give it a try. I'm not even a huge honey fan and I like sopapillas.

We visit a local mexican place fairly regularly so I'll try it the next time I'm in there. I rarely order desserts when I'm at a restaurant so my exposure to desserts besides basic cakes, pies, and cookies is pretty limited.

York, Tippins, Angel Food, McDonald's and Halvah all take the loss in a blow to specific brand names.

I tried a sopapilla last night at our local mexican place and it was disappointing. Fried tortilla, cinnamon, and honey? Is that all there is to it or did I just get a poor excuse for a sopapilla?
