Call of Duty will go head-to-head with Battlefield 3 in 2011.

The third game in the series, which will be shown to press during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco next month, is set for release this coming fall, Electronic Arts confirmed.

The publisher revealed the first teaser trailer for the game on its official website tonight. The trailer, which contains no actual gameplay, displays quick cuts of helicopters, ground troops, tanks and fighter jets.

Additional details courtesy of the official Battlefield Blog confirm a full single-player and co-op campaign, jets, prone, and 64-player multiplayer for the PC version. The Frostbite 2 engine will power the game and a Limited Edition will be revealed around GDC.

Developer DICE confirmed earlier this morning it was canceling the release of Battlefield 1943 and the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Onslaught pack for PC.

so far so good. just doing the campaign and its ****in intense. ****in tough in hard mode. love everything about. has the COD feel to it. have yet to try multiplayer just because I want to get the buttons right before I jump in the pit.

I'm not sure I can stay up that late anymore. Ever since I quit chewing I've been asleep by 11pm which is freaking ridiculous.

I've been reading some reviews and searching other forums for opinions and based off of what I'm reading, no way I'll buy this.

Well it is too late for me but after reading some reviews most don't like the Single Player campaign but love the Multiplayer. Works for me.

Alright, I have an exploit if you want to level up faster.

It's not a glitch or anything, so it's not cheating.

On Caspian Border, behind the A flag (on the side nearest the Russian Spawn) there is a huge boulder formation with plenty of shrubs for cover.

Grab the A flag, hide in the bushes. Let the other team cap A. When they leave just scoot forward a couple feet and take A back. Rinse, Repeat.

This is only if you want to level up, it won't level your guns or anything. Whatever you do, don't shoot at the enemy while they are taking A because you'll give up your position and you won't be able to use that for the rest of the round.

So what happens when someone that isn't reeruned decides to bomb the flag because they know someone is nearby recapping the flag? Were you playing against a bunch of 6 year olds?
