I'm too lazy to look it up.....

Can someone tell me what the bigger upcoming releases for both consoles are?

I love sitting in a lobby between games and saying "Xbox watch tv" to catch a scoring update and then "Xbox go to (insert game title)" and I'm right back in the game.

Now is that worth $100? Yeah, probably not. Over the course of several years it might be, but regardless, I didn't pay a dime for mine so I'm not worried about it.
I can see that being a handy feature but definitely not worth the $100 upcharge.

I've used the original Kinect with a few games (ME2, ME3, FIFA, etc) and it's actually pretty cool. I just feel like such a ****ing idiot talking to the TV, though.

thats me. I just don't see talking to the TV being faster than clicking a couple buttons on my remote.

It is faster for some things. Now, if I need to surf and see what is on cable I use the remote, but for powering the console on, switching inputs from live television to netflix and changing channels it works very well.

I probably won't use it much for games unless I get a full body golf simulator which would be bad ass.

This with the gun or sword is going to be so fun on kinect.

shit, this plus skyrim. You contol the character completely and then use kinect to map your body and the voice on kinect to control your shouts.

If your commands only register 90% of the time (or worse, they don't do what you intend and then you have to issue further commands to correct) it's definitely not saving you any time...

How does that have anything to do with game development? They can't change the structure of their own system at this point to make developing games easier. PS4 has them beat in that respect and what makes you think Sony is just some podunk company that they also can't buy whatever they want? Get out.

Cause they just posted a 1.25 billion dollar loss for the year trying to get out from their shitty VAIO PC line. They predict another loss for this year too. Money is Game Development, companies aren't turning down developing games for Xbox because its really really hard, in fact Insomniac Games LEFT Sony to make Sunset Overdrive for Xbox One, doesn't seem they were discouraged in their decision, and they said it had to do with the amount of money Microsoft offered.

I already own one 360 but it's a 4gb model that sits out in the living room so the girls can play Just Dance and shit like that. I used to have an Elite when they first came out but ended up giving it to my brother because I didn't really play any of the games on the 360 anymore. Now I'm interested in picking one up so I can play some of the 360 exclusive titles that have come out in the last 4-5 years.
