That would just be a ****ing incredibly hilarious hire, esp since Howland is available AND supposedly is interested in the job.

I'm reaching here, a little bit, but the only possible way to keep it this quiet and leak-free is if it's Howland. He has no team to say goodbye to (no leak), no AD or athletic department to resign from (no leak), could be coming from anywhere (Atlanta meeting?), and apparently no other suitors (no leak to help negotiations).

I saw it on the news.
Marshall was at a tournament, and someone asked him if he'd be contacted about the Missouri job.
He wryly grinned and said, "You just did" and laughed. I thought it was an odd exchange, but I'm not sure if it means anything.
