Dexter McCluster heads to the CFL

Terrell Owens could be playing in Canada. For now, a former NFL player some 15 years younger than Owens is headed there.

The Toronto Argonauts announced on Monday that they have signed running back Dexter McCluster.

A second-round pick of the Chiefs in 2010, McCluster played both running back and receiver in the NFL. After four years in Kansas City, he spent two with the Titans and a portion of 2016 with the Chargers.

McCluster, a 29-year-old who did not play in 2017, generated 1,042 rushing yards and 1,993 receiving yards. He also racked up 1,554 kick-return yards and 1,388 punt-return yards, for a grand total of 5,977 all-purpose yards.

See, now you got my hackles up about McCluster, man.

McCluster was sooooo much worse than just a wasted 2nd round pick.

Let's say Pioli's Chiefs were Nazi Germany. Pioli would be Hitler. And Dexter McCluster was Joseph ****ing Mengele.

I think that the biggest reason that he was so hated on here was that he was drafted too high. We had 2 second round picks that year thanks to trading away Tony G. We could have bundled them and traded up for Dez Bryant or Denarius Thomas. Many here wanted Jimmy Clausen or Terrence Cody with those picks. Rob Gronkowski was picked after McNugget. Yeah. That pick pissed off everyone.

Blaming the player for being drafted too high seems really stupid.

The blame should be on Carl and Herm for drafting a gadget player so high.

Actually, if Herm would've had a QB, he would have been ok - he drafted decently with Carl and coached up the young players well. Made some in game/clock management/situational awareness mistakes, but Reid basically does the same shit...

Herm had Thigpen and Huard and Croyle at QB.

****ing SNR!

No. Just ****ing no dude. ****.

Squirmin Herman Mother****ing Sack of CJ t Edwards was horrific at every single aspect of his job. Personnel, game planning, game day. Every single thing he was asked to was horrible.

And donít come at me with a couple bullshit picks. **** that man. He turned over almost everybody in three years and he could find 22 decent players much less 53.

Read this. http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=296702

There is no refutation. He was horrible.

Andy Reid played him exactly right and got the most out of him anyone ever could.

Provided a few highlights and was a good guy. He was ok in my book.
